Instructions for updating MBS Fees in PracSoft

01/11/2008 - Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS) Fees

There are two (2) different fee update files available. Please verify your Pracsoft version before proceeding.

Please also note that the Fee update should NOT be applied BEFORE the 1st November 2008.

• MBS Fee update for PracSoft 2 to PracSoft 3.1.57 - To obtain this fee update please contact HCN Technical Support on 1300 788 802 where a Support Technician will provide information and assistance.

10/08/2007 - PKI Certificate Key Update to be completed by 19th August 2007

Instructions to Renew PKI Certificates

1. Click on the filename link to print out the instructions for updating the "Medicare Australia PKI Certificate Renewal for PracSoft" for use with Medicare Australia Online Claiming.
2. After reading the instructions you will find that you need to download the latest PKI Certificate Manager Installer (Download now to save time).
3. Staff must close PracSoft (and Medical Director if also using PKI) when you perform the instructions, which should normally be run on the server.
